Einstein, 112 Mercer Street, Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A.” blind-stamped letterhead stationery, dated January 8, 1948, written, in English, to “Commandant A. Bly, 14 Rue d’Artois, Bruges, Belgium”. Within, Einstein addresses Mr. Bly’s concerns for the future and downplays his influence in the United States. In reality, in spite of being well known to everybody I know very few people personally and have no influence anywhere.” Signed in black ink, “A. Einstein”.
